Rashtrasant Tukdaoji Maharaj Nagpur University

This college was establish by the Government of Central Provinces Education Department in the year 1923. It is one of the second oldest universities in Maharashtra. They have 3 different colleges namely: Law College, College of Education, and Laxminarayan Institute of Technology.

They offer 4 different courses such as Science and Technology, Commerce, Management and Humanities. It has around 5 different departments such as Education, Physical Education, Information Science, Mass Communication, and Fine Arts.

Kuvempu University

The Kuvempu University was establish in the year 1987 in Shimoga. They also have recognition from the UGC and AIU. This University ranks 73 among all the universities. It is spread over the land of 230 acres. They offer programs such as UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs.

It was establish in the year 1947. The college was affiliate with Madras University and later they got the affiliation with the Bharathiar University. They have around 40 undergraduate programs, 41 departments, and 26 postgraduate degrees along with doctorate and PG diplomas. 

You can get the Master of Journalism and Mass Communication in 2 years of study.

IIMC- Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Delhi

This college IIMC was establish in the year 1965 and was inaugurated by Smt. Indira Gandhi. It is an autonomous institute, which is support by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. They have various centers which are situated in Kottayam, Aizwal, Amravati, and Jammu.

This college is been recognized by the UGC. This is one of the best government mass communication colleges in Delhi. The fees for the Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism are about 75 thousand. And the course is about 1 year long.

University of Mumbai

This university is formerly known as Mumbai University.  It is one of the oldest universities in India. They currently offer UG, PG, Diploma, Doctoral, and certificate programs in various disciplines such as Engineering, Arts, Science, Management, and Law.

Bharathiar University, Coimbatore

This University is owned by the government itself and was establish in the year 1982. This University has affiliated with more than 130 colleges of which 13 colleges are government colleges.  The campus is spread over 750+ acres of land. 

There are about 3 undergraduate programs, 60 postgraduate programs, and Ph.D. programs that this university offers for the students. They have various courses such as Arts and Humanities, Management, Science, Education and Journalism, and Engineering.

Andhra University, Visakhapatnam

The Andhra University was establish in the year 1926 and is located in the Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. It is also accredit by the NAAC. There are different kinds of departments, there are about 310 departments. They have various courses namely PG, UG, and professional courses. 

The size of the campus is about 400 acres of land. For taking admission to the college you need to give exams such as AUEET, AP ICET, AP EDCET, AP LAWCET, and AP PGECET.  For M.J.M.C you need to study for 2 years and the fee is 12K-23K.

University of Mysore

This college is fully funded by the government and was establish by Maharaja Krishnaraj Wodeyar IV in the year 1916. This is one of the oldest Universities in Karnataka. They got recognition by the UGC in the year 1956. 

They have different programs about 72 programs that have postgraduate, undergraduate, and doctorate degrees in respective disciplines such as commerce, science, engineering, law, and education.
